BookSprouts is a reading tracking application designed for parents and guardians to monitor and encourage their children's reading habits. The App allows you to:
- Create and manage child reading profiles
- Track books and reading progress
- Generate AI-powered book summaries
- Receive personalized book recommendations
- Track reading achievements and streaks
3. User Accounts
You may create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Age Requirements
The App is intended for use by parents and guardians who are 13 years of age or older. By using this App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and are using it to track reading for children under your care.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the service

7. AI-Generated Content
Important: The App uses artificial intelligence to generate book summaries and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. This content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information about any book.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including:
- Firebase (authentication and data storage)
- Google Gemini AI (summaries and recommendations)
- Google Books API (book metadata)
- Open Library API (book covers and information)
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
