GameWager ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our real-time baseball prediction application.
GameWager is an entertainment-only app. No real money is wagered. All virtual currency ("GW Marks") has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for real currency.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Supabase
Used for user authentication (Google OAuth, Apple Sign-In, email/password) and secure database storage. Your data is stored in Supabase's cloud infrastructure. See Supabase's privacy policy.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Used to serve rewarded video advertisements. When you choose to watch an ad to earn bonus GW Marks, Google may collect device identifiers, ad interaction data, and other information as described in Google's privacy policy. We participate in SKAdNetwork for ad attribution measurement.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored securely in Supabase with encryption
- We use HTTPS for all data transmission
- Real-time communication uses secure WebSocket connections
- Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with JWT tokens
- We do not store your sign-in passwords directly; authentication is managed by Supabase and third-party identity providers
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems, including:
- Your account and profile information
- All prediction history and statistics
- Team memberships and social connections
- Chat messages
- Achievements, streaks, and leaderboard entries
- GW Marks balance and reward history
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data through the App
- Correct inaccurate information via your profile settings
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data (contact support)
- Opt out of ad tracking via iOS App Tracking Transparency settings
8. Age Requirement
This App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
9. Advertising and Tracking
The App displays optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. We request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent before enabling personalized ad tracking. You may decline tracking and still use the App fully; ads shown may be less relevant. We use SKAdNetwork identifiers for privacy-preserving ad attribution.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
